TheWoWDBWhen I did this quest I only got a 'can't do that yet' message when I tried clubbing the minions.
Reapplying the disguise solved the problem.
Just make sure you don't reapply it anywhere near any of the big groups of mobs, because the disguise will fade as you reapply it and they will attack.

Description
{name}? Eitrigg here. It sounds like you have earned Thorg'izog's trust, and he's assigned you to discipline duty. This is fortunate. We need you to take out his sergeants. You'll find them on wolfback, outside of the Blackrock Stronghold in the Fields of Honor. Use that cudgel on them, several times, until they die. You'll have to act fast, because if they realize you're not one of them, they can unmask you. Strike quickly and ferociously, {name}.
