None Left Standing

None Left Standing is a quest for level 83-88 in Burning Steppes, added in Midnight. It is step 3 of 17 in the Regrets of the Past storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Burning Steppes at 33.5, 48.6. It rewards 12,150 experience and money.

Description

The one thing worse than seeing this Dark Horde here is their banners.

It showcases their pride in this accursed mountain as a place of greatness--as a place for their horde to rise. In reality, this banner is little more than a defiled perversion of the ancestral Blackrock sigil.

Burn down every one you find.

Again, the item ([item=239130]) is in your bag - drag it to an action bar and torch the banners with it. Depending on any disruptive addons you might have, the icon will likely appear beside the quest in the Objectives list where you can click on it.

Strange, the discription text here isn't correct. In game it says:

I hope that this might demoralize some of these soldiers out of their misguided devotion to a failed cause.

Regardless, I am glad those banners are not flying any longer.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Dark HordeBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

I once served under Blackhand, long ago. His son Rend was a sniveling fool: a coward who bolstered himself in that Spire after Doomhammer was defeated. He made deals with dragons, called himself Warchief, and proclaimed his Dark Horde the "true" Horde. Pah!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Faithful Servant, Faithless CauseBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

One of their lieutenants, Mar'kag, appears to be the one barking orders. His father, High Overlord Omokk, followed under Rend Blackhand's banner. Cruel, vicious... no surprise that his son follows in his footsteps.
