Do NOT hearthstone, Blizzard forces you to use the portal made by the NPC....
An example of a bad game design.

What to do
Description
Thank you for all your help, {name}. It's strange to hold what remains of my father's shield and know that, prior to that day, he was such a defender of others. I feel I've only seen his aggressive side. I realize he means well, but I don't think... That is not the path for me. Regardless, let's return to Silvermoon and get these fragments we've gathered to a worthy forge.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Unstoppable Force
This statue seems out of place here. Nothing else like it. But this is where Anduin Lothar fell against Orgrim Doomhammer at the Battle of Blackrock Mountain. Many fought on this field. Many didn't make it. Lothar... Let me tell ye what happened all those years ago.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Bulwark Remade
<name>, it is time to see what we can do with these fragments of Turalyon's shield. While it did break, it was exceptionally powerful in its day, and it could be a great help to Turalyon against the Void. Perhaps a moment of healing and letting go, as well.
