Warriors Without a Warlord

Warriors Without a Warlord is a quest for level 83-88 in Burning Steppes, added in Midnight. It is step 10 of 17 in the Regrets of the Past storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Burning Steppes at 31.6, 37.6. It rewards 15,200 experience and money.

Description

Despite our work in the area, the Dark Horde continues to battle. Their leader is there, in Blackrock Stronghold, likely bolstering their spirits.

Take them out. Once we do, I suspect this Dark Horde will come to nothing, with much less bloodshed.

And Faol thinks there may be a fragment of the relic he's looking for in there. Recover that as well!

I had a problem with phasing. Ran in right as she was killed and her body despawned but she never respawned. Ran back out, came back in, saw the "old version" for a split second and there she was. If you can't find her, trying running out the other side and back in.

That is every comment on this page.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Not Just a Troll's BaneBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

As much as I'd love to keep harassing these Dark Horde grunts, we've found the relic piece that Faol wanted us to. We best be getting on. Danath went looking for the last piece of the relic. You go find him, and I'll tell the mad bishop that his plan is nearly complete.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A True Horde of Dark HordeBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

The remaining Dark Horde forces are gathered here, <name>. Many of them look to be untrained and new to the cause. Drive away the forces gathered here, and perhaps we can hope to see some peace in this region--for the first time in decades.
