March of the Tadpoles is a pretty neat little Micro Holiday...
Located in the Borean Tundra in Northrend… /Way 44, 14First quest is Adopt a Tadpole in which you simply pick your tadpole, run up and click on them to speak to them.
2nd Quest is A Tadpole's Request where you need to collect 10x [item=34597]. They are located nearby at the bottom of the bay near by or across it near the murloc sites.
3rd Quest is The Ways of the World in which you need to slay Mrrga!
Lastly just speak to your Tadpole and they will have [item=144291] for you which gives you a piece of junk like [item=144289]This is a cute but pointless event and you do not get to keep your tadpole but in the area in which you adopted them.

Why is this quest able to be picked up then? Only will confuse new players also its 'target' as a horde quest? I was able to pick it up as an Alliance.

Description
One day every year, usually in mid-spring, the Winterfin tadpoles are given free reign of the village. I'm not sure why this tradition persists, as it usually results in heavy damage to buildings and food stores. I usually try not to interfere too much with the goings-on of the tribe, but today, I take exception. Go out and see if you can keep an eye on one of the tadpoles.
