• Accept the quest, Aluneth, Greatstaff of the Magna, from [npc=102700] at coords 58.6, 42.5 (Hall of the Guardian).
• Travel south to 57.2, 89.8, and click on the [object=251123].
• Once at [zone=7502], proceed west to the Violet Citadel at coords 29.0, 49.6.
• Turn in the quest to [npc=105081].

Description
Aluneth... a powerful and dangerous weapon. If tales are to be believed, Aluneth is actually the name of a very old and very powerful arcane entity, somehow bound to a staff through ancient magic. When Aegwynn relinquished Aluneth many years ago, it was entrusted to Kirin Tor, who, fearing its unbridled power, handed it to the blue dragonflight to secure away in secret. Only they would know exactly where it was taken. The dragon Kalec may be our best chance. He now resides on the Council of Six.
