Heritage armor:
With The War Within, you can level up as you want, including using a character boost or a race-change and gain the achievement (like Heritage of the Lightforged). Once earned, you can use this transmog on every alt of that race. Some races get more than one set.
Older/main races may complete a quest chain to get their heritage armor (currently level 50+ and possibly additional requirements, depending on their race).

In case it doesn't pop up on log in, try to visit the Embassy to find the quest giver (Stormwind / Orgrimmar). A relog might also be helpful if you've just leveled up.

While flying to Ironforge to get a Gnomeregan Tabard (because my gnome's gnome rep is only at friendly) I noticed the quest marker on the map. I can't see Ace Pilot Stormcog, did not accept a quest from him, *am not exalted with Gnomeregan* but was able to pick up the quest chain.
