A single [npc=48609] only using [pet-ability=713] can easily solo this pet battle in ~6 rounds. No need for [pet-ability=204] or other shenanigans, just press 2.

Chromadon is an easy fight for many Flyers or Critters.
The fight is not hard, but takes a while because only attacks doing less than 250 damage will hit Chromadon.
Easy and 100% reliable strategy:

can solo him rather easily:
