You might get confused about this quest as you get it at the same time you get the quest for Zanzil Mixtures. There will be a circle at the Ruins of Aboraz (RoA) but this is not where you want to go. Moreover, the map wrongly indicates the Ruins of Jubuwal (where the totem is) as right near the RoA.
You'll find the totem on the East side of the Ruins of Jubuwal.

Zanzil the Outcast, an exile from the Gurubashi tribe, is my quarry. Recently, I have heard tales from my brothers in the north about his planned reentry into society, starting with the emissary he sent to the Skullsplitters. This is not good news. I want you to peer into Zanzil's current plans. Take this incense, and place it in front of the bat totem in the Ruins of Jubuwal, to the north. Hir'eek will guide you from there.
