Alright, boss. We're gonna need some lumber if we're gonna get this garrison started off right.
If you mark some trees to be cut down, your peons will do the rest.

It's highly recommended to complete this quest AFTER the Gronnling Problem quest that comes with it.
Marking all the trees first will cause the most of the trees in the area to fall down and very much impede your view for Gronnling killing.
The flags are showing up as yellow marker's on your mini map. As you walk up to one it is a faint transparent flag. When you click the flag an orc will come and cut the tree down.
Awesome reference to "Warcraft - Orcs and Humans".
"Okee-Dokee"
"Work complete!"Hopefully we will see more of NPCs like [npc=79526]!
I realy miss "Stop poking meeee!"

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Without you, none of us would have made it to the shores of my homeland. You will be the one to lead our forces here on Draenor. This is your garrison to found. I leave it to you to plant the banner and claim this territory.

It's gonna be quite a task to build you a fortress if there's gronnlings rampaging around. I don't think anyone else here can handle taking those big beasts out, so you might need to take care of it yourself.
