This quest is impossible to finish. I've waited for hours--watching tv, movies, sleeping for the night, I've even attacked the Fathom Lord, along with others. The count goes to 49/50 then starts over 1/50 and disappears. I've left the game several times. Next, I'm going to log out completely and see if that doesn't make it click. Looks like I'll have to ask the GM to fix it.
This quest is currently bugged. The final boss of it cannot be hit by anything due to being stuck in the ground. All you get is the Evade thing.
