I did this as Horde and did not receive the boots either. I contacted a GM and the boot reward is Alliance only for whatever stupid reason.

Yet another example of Alliance Bias. The quest can be completed by Horde players but there's no boots in it. Why not offer an equivalent set of items for the Horde? This upsets the angler in me!
i accidentally sold or scrapped these boots and there are not appearing in my item restoration, anyone else have this problem?
