Bring Down the Warbringer! (Alliance)

Bring Down the Warbringer! is an Alliance-only quest for level 25-30 in Shadowmoon Valley. It is step 17 of 147 in the Shadowmoon Valley storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Shadowmoon Valley at 39.5, 53.7. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

We've made a lot of progress against the Shadow Council's operations at the Deathforge, but if we're to truly be triumphant, we'll need to defeat the Legion's overseer there.

I found a key among the items in Flanis's pack. I'm certain it will prove useful in tracking down this Warbringer Razuun you observed at Legion Hold.

After you've hunted down and dealt with Warbringer Razuun, report directly to Wing Commander Nuainn. He'll want to know immediately!

Go to the first cave entrance (39,40) where you found Flanti's pack. Make your way over the large bridge and on the left side you'll see a gate where you can use the Deathforge key. Warbringer (69 non-elite demon) is at the end of the smaller cave behind the gate.

Soloed as level 70 frost mage, piece of cake.

In order for the Shadow Council to construct infernals as quickly as they're being used, they must have an area dedicated to summoning the corrupted elementals that serve as the souls of the creatures. The summoning chamber is likely to be found below ground, near a pool of fouled water or lava.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Gaining AccessShadowmoon Valley · Level 25-30

According to Razuun's orders, the massive infernal staging area is called Invasion Point: Cataclysm and it's nestled in the northern mountains. The only way to reach it is by using a teleporter located at Legion Hold.
