Cannot Reproduce (Alliance)

Cannot Reproduce is an Alliance-only quest for level 25-30 in Icecrown. It is step 33 of 167 in the Icecrown storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Icecrown at 63.1, 43.3. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

I smell their cauldrons from here, but that's not plague they're cooking.

Pledges to the cult are forced to drink a concoction that steals their will and enslaves them forever to the Lich King.

Some say the potion contains the twisted soul of a being who was tormented before being mercilessly slaughtered, but I've never been able to reproduce it...

Fill this flask with a sample from each of the three cauldrons in the northwest region of the gate and bring it to Chief Engineer Boltwrench.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

  • Chain of CommandIcecrown · Level 25-30

Based on your report, and my knowledge of the Cult, they have an overseer managing the operation of each encampment on the gate. While taking their leaders down will only be a temporary setback, it will at least slow them down and keep them off-balance.

After this quest

  • Retest NowIcecrown · Level 25-30

This should do the trick! Those twisted hooligans are looking for souls to put in their crazy-juice? Then I say we help 'em out a bit! Take a swig of this - don't worry, I've diluted it plenty...
