Coprous the Defiled (Horde)

Entrance to the Mord'rethar vault is at 63, 62. Coprous has ~107k hp, can be snared and stunned. He melees fairly hard and has an acid spray that hits multiple times for a decent amount of damage (not just in melee range, this seems to be a change from beta). Ranged classes can solo him with caution, melee types will probably want to bring a healer.

The Icecrown is done! Leave your comments/sugestions at my comment in Icecrown zone. Thanks everyone who helped me to make it via comments on wowhead and in-game pre-quest tracking.

Since the pre-patch this thing is impossible to solo, even as a Blood DK. He hits for 1k to 1.3k and his acid spray does 1k dmg per tick.

I'm pretty sure you have to complete this and the cauldron to finish the achieve for Icecrown, so the workaround I found is to turn off Chromie time and come back and one shot it. Though that requires you to be over level 30. It's $%^& but it's the only way to do it solo without being max level. Though make sure to turn Chromie Time back on before you turn the quests in so you get full xp.
