Do not summon your demon, hunter pet, or water elemental - you will be dismounted.

I've killed the Pachyderm fifteen times. My pet has been dismissed before battle, and I'm mounted on the talbuk. It still won't register the kill, though, and I can't claim the quest victory. Any suggestions?
