Hard way to do this quest:
Kill dozens of [npc=62293]s till you kick your computer in frustration and curse Blizzard for making you do this.

Easy way to do this quest:

Fly up to the top of the cliffs at Shan'ze Dao, where [npc=62530]s are patrolling amongst many [npc=62266]. Loot 8 tablets off the ground and fly off satisfied.

Essentially, while these tablets drop from the aforementioned mobs, the drop rate is dismal, and they have respectable health pools making them a pain to kill. Looting them from the ground at the top of plateau takes a fraction of the time.
Hope this helps! =)

Description

It is said that Shan'ze Dao was once home to a great mogu temple. There, the Shan'ze studied and practiced the art of subjugating the dead or inanimate. Much of their knowledge still remains on the island to the northwest, buried among the ruins. We need to get our hands on their knowledge - both to keep it out of their hands, and to understand the nature of their experiments.
