Dark Iron Tacticians

Dark Iron Tacticians is an Alliance-only dungeon quest for level 20-30 in Blackrock Depths. It rewards 3,100 experience and money.

Description

General Angerforge and Golem Lord Argelmach lead the Dark Iron armies and their golems against us. If we are to overcome them, the two must be slain.

Go through this door and unlock The Shadowforge Lock, which separates the East and West Garrisons. Then, follow the stairs and keep to the left at the top until you reach the West Garrison. It is there you will find the General and Golem Lord.

Keep your wits about you, they are both well-seasoned combatants. Find Mayara Brightwing should you succeed.

The Lock is in the first floor where you will see huge wheels hanging from the wall, just below them, on the floor you will see a sort of command center, press the middle of it and wheels will start to turn and will unlock the door in the upper floor between the east and the west, took me a lot of time to find this out, as usual be accident,

When are you supposed to do this quest? Everyone leaves after Interrogator when you queue for BRD-Detention Block and that boss signifies the "end" of that dungeon so you can't get more members through LFG, and Upper City queue puts you well past it. I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly WHEN this quest is supposed to be done.

Inside the dungeon: Blackrock Depths

The smoldering Blackrock Depths are home to the Dark Iron dwarves and their emperor, Dagran Thaurissan. Like his predecessors, he serves under the iron rule of Ragnaros the Firelord, a merciless being summoned into the world centuries ago.

Bosses in the Adventure Guide, in order: High Interrogator Gerstahn, Lord Roccor, Houndmaster Grebmar, Ring of Law, Pyromancer Loregrain, Lord Incendius, Warder Stilgiss, Fineous Darkvire, Bael'Gar, General Angerforge, Golem Lord Argelmach, Hurley Blackbreath.

Entrance: Searing Gorge at 27.6, 72.4.
