Destroying the Altars

Destroying the Altars is a quest for level 25-30 in Icecrown. It is step 115 of 167 in the Icecrown storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Icecrown at 35.4, 66.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

So they're summoning in their workers and warriors at those altars?

They'll need to be the first thing to go. The master summoner should have a staff which allows him to activate the portal. If you kill the master summoner and take the staff, you can use it to overload the summoning portal and destroy its altar.

Do this at all four of the altars and return to me once they've been destroyed.

  • Where Are They Coming From?Icecrown · Level 25-30

The Lich King's tireless minions labor away night and day to assemble scores of abominations and flesh giants down there in the Fleshwerks. Yet, that is not enough. More and more skeletal constructors keep appearing to increase the pace of work.

  • Death's GazeIcecrown · Level 25-30

The Fleshwerks is a vast operation, and it will be difficult to keep an eye on all that transpires there. Fortunately, I have a plan. <Arly produces an orb from the folds of her cloak and shows it to you.> This is a death's gaze orb.
