Description

What Draaka requires is a magnet of sorts - something that her demonic missiles will be drawn to.

<Durak grins slyly.>

I happen to know of a method that should suit our purposes.

You scour the mines for fist-sized chunks of ore, while I prepare a special... enchantment.

Leave the chamber where Durak works and go out into the main mine shaft you came down through. The fist-sized chunks of ore are laying on the ground waiting to be picked up. You wouldn't have noticed these on the way down. They only spawn one you receive the quest.

Where to go

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Tell No One!Ashenvale · Level 7-30

    Perfect! This will show the elves what the Horde is capable of when we're backed into a corner. Listen, <name>. You must say nothing of this to anyone! Saurfang will surely approve once he sees the results, but if we are found out beforehand, our heads will be placed on spikes!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rain of DestructionAshenvale · Level 7-30

    Just in time, <class>. The elves have launched another attack! From the guard towers, use the accursed ore to mark targets for Draaka. Her projectiles will strike your target and erupt in fel magic flame, destroying any nearby enemies. There is strong prejudice against the use of demonic magics.
