Distortions in Time

Distortions in Time is a Horde-only quest for level 25-30 in The Storm Peaks. It is step 68 of 113 in The Storm Peaks storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Storm Peaks at 65.8, 51.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

This, the tomb of Tunka'lo's warriors, is supposed to be a serene place, free from the terror of the elements.

Frostfloe Deep has been invaded by a strange force, one that disturbs the spirits of the fallen and blurs my memories of my own life.

It's as though our deeds and memories are being erased from history.

In life, this totem was a symbol of my authority. It is the last true link I have to this world. Take it, use it to restore calm to the tomb, and then return it to Camp Tunka'lo.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Memories of StormhoofThe Storm Peaks · Level 25-30

When the bronze dragonflight gifted me with immortality and set me on the path of the witness, Nozdormu entrusted me with the Lorehammer. The hammer's reaction to your findings means that time has gone awry here and it is our duty to restore the true timeline. We must find it.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Where Time Went WrongThe Storm Peaks · Level 25-30

The Lorehammer can help us correct the damage to the timeline, but only if we can discover where the history was originally corrupted. From Chieftain Swiftspear and your findings at Frostfloe Deep, we know that the change happened around the time of Stormhoof's death.
