Essence for the Engines

Essence for the Engines is a quest for level 25-30 in Netherstorm. It is step 39 of 103 in the Netherstorm storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Netherstorm at 32.4, 66.8. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

As the X-52's chief of engineering, I have to see to it that the nether-rocket's main engines are in tip-top shape.

Unfortunately, I haven't built them yet.

<class>, I'm in dire straits here! I have almost all of the parts. All that I'm missing is the engine core.

Luckily for us, I think we can make use of the essence from the local mana wraiths to jump-start the engines.

They can be found near most of the glowing trenches in the northern part of the island. Except for here in Area 52, of course.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Report to EngineeringNetherstorm · Level 25-30

<name>! I need you to take all of these etherlithium crystals over to Chief Engineer Trep, my, uh, chief of engineering. He should know what to do with them. And if he doesn't, you see to it that he finds out!

After this quest

  • Elemental Power ExtractionNetherstorm · Level 25-30

Darn it, that didn't do it! Ok, I've got another idea! I had Xyrol whip up an elemental power extractor. I'm not certain exactly what this power will do, but I know that I can use it.
