TheWoWDBThis quest now (post Shattering) gives you a swim speed/underwater breathing buff that lasts for 30 minutes.
However, be careful you don't stray too far in the ocean because if you go into a different zone (like I did going after some stranglekelp), you will LOSE the buff and the NPC's will not grant it to you again unless you abandon the quest and re-accept it.

I died in the water in this quest, and when my ghost returns to it, he walks on water and can't go into the ocean to resurrect. I can see the coffin symbol, but can't get to it. Any ideas?
Fun fact: try talking to questgiver again after accepting the quest, but BEFORE completing the objective, and he'll do the "/chicken" emote at you, and call you a coward!

Description
Argh, 'tis a horrible life. I should be in a watery grave right now, not sittin' here by the fire, breathin' fresh air. The crew tried so hard to save my beautiful Maiden's Folly. Bless the boys, bless their hearts. O'Breen made it to shore safely but we weren't so lucky. The seas just sank on us, I swear. One second we're afloat and the next water is rushin' in. And those beasts! Killed all the survivors. Horrible naga scum. I went black and ended up here, saved. I want those beasts dead.
