Espionage and Ventriloquism is a quest for level 78-80 in Azj-Kahet. It is step 2 of 4 in the Pawns and Puppetry storyline. It rewards 10,600 experience and money.

Description

The Puppetmaster is our best lead for finding the Magistrate.

But is it just me, or did those puppets seem... horrifically lifelike? If this artist is behind the Magistrate's disappearance, he certainly isn't just off to see a puppet show.

We should investigate the Puppetmaster's workshop. Question him, or at least ransack his things. Just a bit. Until we find something useful.

You'll have to keep playing your rather undignified role in this charade. But it will pay off for us.

For the organizing supplies step it seems like it often bugs out, reloading UI seems to fix it.

Also, the places where you put the items are tricky to see in the room even when it does work...
The first item goes on the table in the northern corner of the room (65,41)
The second item goes on the table in the southern corner of the room (65,44)
The third item goes on the table in the southeastern corner of the room (66,43)

For the final stage there is a vial that you need to pick up from the same table as the third organization step (66,43), then you get an extra action button and you just throw the [item=219443] at the worm things. You can only hit each worm thing once for credit
