I found that becoming the Lynx Loa at (/way Atal'Aman 34.4, 25.47) was the fastest way through this quest on alt play thoroughs. Attacks are quick and there is a speed boost ability.

Lots of mobs on the platform in the lake at /way Atal'Aman 25.6, 47.5

maybe it's due to the long time you play on release and the sleep deprivation you have to endure..

.. but it took my an uncomfortably long enough time to realise who we are fighting here. well, one level for the night and i'll go to bed..
