TheWoWDBIf you find that the eggs are untargetable, try using the tab key while you stand near them. I was able to tab target and then shoot the eggs as a hunter.

The only way I found that I could damage the eggs was using the shredder and it only lasts about 25-30 seconds before it goes into a 9 or 10 min cooldown. Such a bummer.
Found myself working on another quest or two and killing beasties for skins while I waited out the cooldown on the shredder. Twice.
Not sure I'm seeing the logic of such a long cooldown when it has such a short usage period. Typical, eh? :)
I don't know if this intended behavior or not, so take that for what it's worth.
