Nagosh the Scarred

Nagosh the Scarred is a quest for level 83-88 in Burning Steppes, added in Midnight. It is step 7 of 17 in the Regrets of the Past storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Burning Steppes at 21.1, 39.8. It rewards 15,200 experience and money.

Description

The Dark Horde may strut around inside the mountain, but an orc called Nagosh is the one rulin' this roost.

He barks orders, then charges straight into a fight. Rock-heads in command like that one are what gets everyone on all sides killed.

I'd bet anything that numbskull claimed Faol's shiny relic. Keep an eye out. He may jump ye in the middle of a fight.

what helped me was making a macro to target him then I started flying around spamming the macro until I found him, then placed a skull target marker on his head to find him on land.

/tar Nagosh

took me 15 seconds to find him this way.

When you get inside and you're on the walkway that runs around the lava--it has the weapon racks and the mobs you kill for badges--turn right and go up the ramp until you get to the covered area (not the hallway to the right--it's the covered "room" on the walkway. He spawns there, but while this is new content, he's getting burned down quickly. So, do this: Kills the adds right around there until he spawns, then kill him, then run around the ramp and burn the weapon racks.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Due RecognitionBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

Blackrock Mountain is where most of the Dark Horde has holed up. All their unit commanders adorn themselves with badges, struttin' around like they won the Second War. Shameful! But it gives me an idea. Defeat them and take their badges.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Disarm the Dark HordeBurning Steppes · Level 83-88

The Dark Horde have no love fer their equipment. Look at their weapons! Cracked, rusted, blunt, and bent. Ach! The only way they function is by making more shoddy tools to constantly replace the ones they've broken. If ye see any of their weapon racks, destroy 'em.
