The Icecrown is done! Leave your comments/sugestions at my comment in Icecrown zone. Thanks everyone who helped me to make it via comments on wowhead and in-game pre-quest tracking.

It seems to be bugged. The chest with the scepter is not clickable, but the others are.

Alumeth has been heavily nerfed in 3.08 - HP down to 106K from 260K, does much less damage per hit and seems to use his abilities less.

If you are doing this quest as a group, have all party members loot the chests and create Alumeth's Remains. The Remains don't despawn (unlike the components) and can be used at a later date, saving you from having the clear the trash the next time you do the quest.
