On Our Own Terms is an Alliance-only quest for level 30-35 in Kelp'thar Forest. It is step 9 of 149 in the Vashj'ir, Kelp'thar Forest & Shimmering Expanse storyline. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 3,600 experience and money.
We're as ready as we'll ever be. No sense waiting around for the naga to find us.
I'll address the men, then we'll meet the enemy on our own terms and let fate decide the outcome.

Abandon and get it again. It worked for me.
I had to abandon this quest and pick it up again so the guys would jump out and start the fight.
When you fight (no XP for kills), you will eventually be taken away by a combatant. DO NOT go back to the battle point. I quickly mounted my Sea Turtle and zoomed back because the quest had not completed. Sit at the place where you are dropped long enough and it will complete.
I rode back to the fight about 12 times (in 30 minutes) before I stopped long enough to curse the quest in gchat and it finally completed.
Laugh and learn.
It this quest bugged? I talk to him and he says...
"You've done well, druid.
My men and I are now prepared to face the enemy."
Ok, that's wonderful... let me turn in this quest and gimme my xp!

This is it. This is where we make our stand. We must defend this ship to our last breath, and make these cretins think twice before approaching it again! May our blades strike fear in their hearts!
