The mob you're looking for is "Icetip Crawler". It's a large hot purple spider at the very back of the cave. (Coords 47, 71)
The quest item it drops is only lootable by one member of your party at a time, so you'll have to kill more than one depending on the number of people in your party. Luckily there are a few spawns for this mob at once around the same area.

Just did this quest and while I was looking for purple spiders for an hour, i decided to just kill one of the blue ones...lo and behold, that's the mob I needed.

So, update, the mobs you need are indeed in the back of the cave, but they look blue like the rest of the spiders!

Description

Oi... it's like there's a propeller in my stomach. I think I can walk, but I got something nasty in my system when I got bit by something in the back of the cave. It was bigger than the other spiders... and brightly colored. Ricket can probably make me an antidote, but she'd need the venom sac from whatever bit me. Would you mind finding it for me? I don't think Tore's coming. I'll just pretend I'm dead here and hopefully they'll leave me alone.
