What a weird quest.
The enemies have an uninterruptable curse that stacks and reduces your movement speed and haste by 10%. It also lasts like 40 seconds so it means that after a couple of pulls you have to just sit there and wait for it to run out before you can continue cause you move and hit so slow.

So, to atone for Vareesa's killing of elves... I have to kill their ghosts. That makes perfect sense...
This was worse than Classic. On my warrior, I had to wait forever for each ability because of what the haste curse does to the global cooldown. So it was kill a mob, wait a minute, pull another one...
Also, somehow killing these did not reset the CD on Impending Victory. I've never seen that. Maybe it was the curse, but I don't see how.

Description
Before we are able to make amends with the living, we must lay the dead to rest. Years ago, I purged Dalaran of all elves allied with the Horde. I blamed them for the actions of the warchief at the time that resulted in the death of my husband. Now, years later, those ghosts still haunt me. Will you put them to rest and gather their remains? I'll perform some small atonement by bringing these remains to Silvermoon. They deserve to be returned home.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Symbols of the Past
Arator's warning is poignant. There will be no small amount of grief or even threats when we return to Silvermoon. I suspect Aethas and his Sunreavers will bar our passage if we enter without preparations.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- For Quel'Thalas
It is time for us to return to Silvermoon. I have no doubt we will be greeted as traitors and murderers. I do not care how we are seen. I care that Quel'Thalas survives. Will you join us, <name>? From what Arator has said, you have earned more than a measure of respect from Silvermoon.
