The text for [item=204063], which is handed in to [npc=198896] when players complete this quest:

-1-
Lady Katrana Prestor has the other nobles wrapped around her finger. There is so much corruption, and it all seems to point back to her. Bolvar Fordragon demands more and more proof, but she is just too careful...

-2-
These foolish, proud nobles! They don't even question her most outlandish lies!

<A dark stain covers part of the page.>

... Magic. It must be magic. Or is this just what they want to hear?

<The rest of the page has been torn off.>

-3-
Count Clessington, a land baron. He lets out property at exorbitant prices and...

<Much of the page is smudged and unreadable.>

Clessington seems to spend more and more time around Prestor. More even than Bolvar.

Makes sense. He has such disdain for commoners. The man won't even look me in the eye. He probably took less convincing than the others to turn against the Stonemason's Guild.

-4-
<The words are a faint smudge amid a squall of slobber on the page.>

Clessington has been to Blackrock! Does he know what Prestor is? Does he serve, willingly?

<A large gash blemishes the middle of the page.>

He is too slippery. I must focus on the snake's head, the mastermind... Lady Prestor. Whatever promises she made him, Clessington will be useless without her.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rotten Old MemoriesLevel 50-90

Whatever is going on, I don't like it. Last thing we need is this dragon lady's power corrupting everyone again. Whoever did this must have known much about Onyxia. Shaw mentioned this... Reginald Windsor. He was the only one to suspect Lady Prestor.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The New Clessington EstateLevel 50-90

Excellent, <name>. Finally, something we can work with. Count Clessington is a member of the House of Nobles and a powerful mage. He has fallen on hard times since Anduin cracked down on corruption in Stormwind. I would not put it past him to have something to do with this.
