TheWoWDBThere are [npc=106920] at /way 57.6, 20.6 who also drop Runic Catgut, despite the quest objective not appearing in their tooltip. This is much closer to your other tailoring quest spot at /way 56.5, 15.5 for [item=127039] for Hard Times than the default Blizzard marked.

You cannot purchase Runic Catgut from the vendor in Dalaran until you have finished this quest. You probably "show them" how to get this.
Just something to note, when I did the quest I did not get a single drop from the Llothien Prowler's just NorthWest of where the quest is (around a big tree), however, I got three after killing four of the prowler's in the Ruins of Llothien.

Description
Let me guess... thread troubles? Mm-hm. I suspected as much. My people weave sumptuous silks, but those silks can be fickle about the types of thread they'll accept. Shal'dorei silk has a bit of ley energy woven right into it. You need something that's learned to coexist with the ley energies of this land. I'm talking about owlcats, my good friend! They have what you need. You'll find them amongst the ruins of Llothien.
