Brann Bronzebeard, the greatest explorer on Azeroth, who has been round the world more than once and done a whole bunch of stuff I can't be bothered to look up right now, can't speak Orcish?

Are you kidding me?

"There are more than a dozen major languages in Azeroth, and there’s little excuse for every explorer not to have at least a passing fluency in all of them." That's the straight quote from Brann. Also, from Lands of Conflict: During the First War, Brann learned a bit of Orc in order to help question prisoners of war. By the end of the Second War, he considered himself conversational in the orc tongue. APPARENTLY NOT CONVERSATIONAL ENOUGH TO CARRY OUT A CONVERSATION. Maybe Brann is just playing silly buggers with us.

  • Sniffing Out the PerpetratorThe Storm Peaks · Level 25-30

Boktar can have his way this time, but I'll expect him to make it up to me. Don't look at me like that. Boktar may be in command, but no one tells a hunter what to do. 'Put that beast away,' he says. 'Make it stop growling.' All of a sudden he changes his mind when it suits him.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Speaking with the Wind's VoiceThe Storm Peaks · Level 25-30

I suppose we shouldn't have expected to find Brann so easily, not with our luck. If we can make sense of what Brann is saying, you can persuade him to give up his location. The power of the wind is strong in these mountains, and it may prove a great boon to us.
