my character can talk?
this quest is sometimes bugged. my first time on it. i had to abandon and retake it times before it finally gave me a complete. after the 5th time i just said screw it and went on to other quests. later on during the day i came back on it cuz i was in the area and it worked. i have no idea why it failed the first five times. but if it fails for you. you keep at it at a later time

What are you waiting for? The language barrier has been broken, thanks to Moteha. Contact Brann Bronzebeard and find out anything you can about where he's hiding and what he's chasing after. Maybe we can still salvage something from this disaster.

I suppose we shouldn't have expected to find Brann so easily, not with our luck. If we can make sense of what Brann is saying, you can persuade him to give up his location. The power of the wind is strong in these mountains, and it may prove a great boon to us.
