[npc=149394]'s [spell=298591] hits for 5-6 blasts of 15,217 nature damage.
I died upon first try and was unable to res within the Halls of Stone (bug?) Had to release to my hearthstone location and manually find a Spirit Healer.
If you abandon, you'll have to get the quest again from [npc=151607] at the Terrace of Makers (56.13, 51.42) and then fly yourself to the Halls of Stone entrance.

Horrid Quest for melee. My advice is to get your reputation and do this quest with a ranged character. You ultimately have to beat a SmasherX900 that can shield itself and send electric bombs at you. These bombs quickly killed my level 51 Warrior. My warrior died 3 times before completing the quest. A ranged character would likely be able to avoid the lightning bombs.

It's time to bring down Sparkspanner, Commander. Just give me the word, and I'll turn this machine straight towards the Halls of Stone!

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Operation: TroggageddonLevel 50-90

Tinkerbow has finished installing the guns on our flying machines, so it's time to give them a trial by fire. We've got confirmation that our target is in fact within the Halls of Stone. Let's start clearing out the forces out in front.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • G.E.A.R. UpLevel 50-90

That was a close one, but we managed to defeat Sparkspanner! Gnomanity and Azeroth are saved from a threat they didn't even know about. Hopefully, that's the last time we'll hear from any of Thermaplugg's old goons. We should return to Captain Sparknozzle. He will want a full report.
