If you're getting slaughtered, the fight in this quest is relatively easy to beat if you understand what to do. Don't fight the mobs head on. Go off to the side of the room and let the NPC guards take the brunt of the fight.

There are two packs. At the beginning of each fight, one of the mobs will break off and run towards you. After you kill this one, pick off the rest one at a time. Rinse and repeat for the second pack.

Description

So much destruction. The devourers are insatiable. I hope the creature we heard is not badly hurt. This door is not going to open normally. Perhaps we can force our way through together! Whatever is on the other side needs our help.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
