There's only about 2 or 3 quest chains you need to do before you can do the Conquest Pit line. Here's a simple guide to unlocking it, since information seems to be all over the place in the comments above, and I just finished it not too long ago.
1) Do Gray Worg Hides on the way to Voldrune to do A Show of Strength and The Flamebinder's Secrets.
2) Return to Conquest Hold, turn in quests, get new ones.
3) Travel east of Voldrune and complete A Minor Substitution.
4) Head into Voldrune and complete The Thane of Voldrune.
5) Return to Conquest Hold, turn in quests. Grab 5 Flour and 1 Coal from the vendors there, and complete Jun'ik's Coverup and Delivery to Krenna
6) Grab My Enemy's Friend and complete it. Make sure you get the journal for Mikhail's Journal which drops off the hunters during this quest.
7) Return to Conquest Hold, turn in quests, get new ones.
8) Head north and complete Tactical Clemency and Attack on Silverbrook
9) Return to Conquest Hold, turn in quests. There, you should be all done and able to do the Conquest Pit quests, in less than an hour. Have fun!

I soled this as a level 75 lock Demo specced (0/56/10). Your priority is keeping your VW alive, refreshing dots when as needed. Took about 3 minutes.
Mix of badge, season 2 and 4, and crafted gear - no Tier gear.
i dont see a reason to downrate this comment his telling fellow warlocks that he was able to solo the quest. reading 15 comments about a quest being soloable kinda sucks but sometimes they are really informative specially for a quest like this wich gives good amount of xp.

What to do
Description
So you're interested in the fights, eh? Well, Krenna has outlawed pit-fighting for all enlisted combatants. But you, my friend, are technically a free agent and are not included in this prohibition. Nice loophole, eh? Anyway, if you're interested I can start you off with something easy, a measly bear. I'll even let you bring friends along!
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Ursoc, the Bear God
The time has come, <name>. Now we will learn whether our efforts will accomplish what we need or nothing at all. Take these ashes and seek the furbolg that Kodian told you about, Tur Ragepaw, near Ursoc's Den. You will find the den to the north of Grizzlemaw.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Conquest Pit: Mad Furbolg Fighting
You're not bad. Not bad at all. Think you can take a furbolg? What about one of those extra-large crazed Northrend furbolgs? Good, good. Get your crew together, and head to the ring. Let's give these folks a show... maybe we can earn some more coin while we're at it.
