Tactical Clemency

Tactical Clemency is a Horde-only quest for level 15-30 in Grizzly Hills. It is step 68 of 115 in the Grizzly Hills storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Grizzly Hills at 21.9, 29.9. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 1,050 experience.

Description

Listen, <name>. I need you to act with discretion and speed.

One of Krenna's top sergeants has captured a trapper outcast outside of Silverbrook. Now, if things turn out the way they usually do, the prisoner is going to be executed before the day is over.

We can't let that happen. You see, the prisoner matches the description of Mikhail's older daughter in his diary.

If we set her loose and follow her closely, she'll lead us to whoever's controlling the trappers. Take this letter to her.

I believe that until you finish this quest line, the Conquest Pit chain in Conquest hold doesn't open up for you.

The final encounter of the Conquest Pit chain is one in which you fight Krenna with Gorgonna's help. In the opening dialogue, Krenna accuses Gorgonna of going behind her back and disregarding her orders.

  • The Darkness BeneathGrizzly Hills · Level 15-30

Something... dark... happened to the tree Vordrassil. After the druids decided to destroy it, its hollow remains grew roots deep into the ground. I want you to go to the three locations to the northeast where the tree's trunk shattered and go as far beneath the ground as you can.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Possible LinkGrizzly Hills · Level 15-30

Not long ago we sent an expedition to the east, where it was attacked by crazed furbolgs. One of the survivors described slaying one of them and its body expelling a dark slimy substance. For thousands of years, the furbolgs in this region have been peaceful.
