Quest
The Missing Rootwarden
A World of Warcraft quest in Harandar. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.

Even after you collect the first one, the others don't appear until after a minute or three. Disappointing, 17 chapters apparently isn't enough to require too many hours to level, but there is a delay before these things spawn. Apparently the quest writers have run out of ideas.
After you finish this quest all three items remain in your inventory. Deleting them is fine.

What to do
Description
Something keeps troubling me about this, {name}. Where is the Rootwarden? Ruia has a solemn duty to watch over the World Tree and the land around it. He should be here, with his people in need. So where could he be when they are in crisis? What is he thinking? I am sure that we can find clues to where he has gone if we search his town. Perhaps we can learn more about his state of mind along the way.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- In Search of the Problem
We did what Hagar asked us to do. The next step will be to test this on something--or someone--afflicted with the Lightbloom. It may be difficult to find the Lightbloom in enough quantities in Harandar, but I believe we will find what we need at Har'alnor. I will meet you there!
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Can We Heal This?
The rutaani have escaped their nearby villages to Har'alnor. The guards have told me that some of them have been afflicted with the Lightbloom, yet have not succumbed to its effects. This may be our best opportunity to test the Alndust's powers. Time is of the essence!
