I just wanted to add that using the rune does not aggro the boss. That was the one thing I was looking for here. Just completed all three yesterday.

From a player perspective I can understand killing bosses again. However, from a story perspective it's so dumb. We got the axe for killing Fyrakk. Why would we be sent back to that raid lore wise to kill bosses that are already dead?
Come on Blizz. Seriously no thought/lazy quest creation.
The good news, especially if you're doing this on LFR, is that you don't need to be eligible for loot in order for the quest objective to be met. I had to leave and re-queue the Molten Incursion twice before finally getting a group that didn't immediately ninja pull Volcoross and I was able to tag him and complete the quest on the third kill. (I killed it each time because it was quicker than a 30 minute debuff)

Description
We need to finalize the binding. We can attune the components properly by testing them in combat against Fyrakk's most powerful lieutenants. Then we can bind the attuned materials to Fyr'alath. If you can defeat Gnarlroot, Igira the Cruel, and Volcoross while this rune is bound to them, you'll be ready to fully attune the Rune of Shadowbinding.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

- Handling It: Prototype Rune
Ah, I see! We're in uncharted territory here, but I've got a plan. You'll need some Cosmic Ink, Runed Writhebark, and Shadowflame Essence. Sharing this recipe with a friendly scribe should allow them to complete a Crafting Order for you.
