I've gotten a really annoying bug on this quest which has as of now stopped me from progressing the Darkshore storyline for War of the Thorns. In the World Quest version of this quest I was flying around killing the things I needed to kill when I was suddenly booted from the Goblin flying machine to the Zoram strand - I returned to the quest area, hopped back into the flying machine and tried killing the Ancients but now I'm no longer receiving credit for the kills, so I'm stuck at 3/5. Just a heads up, maybe leaving the quest area even momentarily will boot you and you might not be able to progress the quest.
If you're stuck on 4/5 kills, try moving along the little river / stream towards the coast and make sure you're killing ALL of the Awakened Ancients, not the same 1-2 over and over.

Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
