TheWoWDBThis isn't dropping for me for some reason, and my Skinning skill is not increasing. I did get the Unbroken Tooth skill, and I have also gotten all of the items for Mining. Tried buying the Forgotten Techniques of the Broken Isles, but I just get a "This skill is already known". Is anyone else still having this problem? Currently level 101 leveling in Azsuna.
EDIT: Got it to work! I decided to check if I could get the Stormscale Sample to drop, so I went to Stormheim. Skinned a Stormwing Drake, and got the item. Then I skinned a nearby wolf, and I got the Stormhide Leather Sample! Leaving this here in case it might help someone else.

I too started to think it was on the fritz, since i had skinned over 100 with no drop. Then for the heck of it.. I went and bought the book "Forgotten Techniques of the Broken Isles". And POW... it taught me Stonehide Leather and Stomscle. The the quests started popping up from Kondal Huntsworn. I know for a fact I had NEVER known skinning before.. I am on my Boost Alt.. Hope it helps.
