What Lies Beneath

What Lies Beneath is a quest for level 25-35 in Townlong Steppes. It is step 14 of 60 in the Townlong Steppes storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Townlong Steppes at 82.5, 74.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

If my suspicions are correct, this place still reels from some lingering darkness.

Whatever happened here... it could not have been the natural course of events.

Even the yaungol are not so brutal as to slaughter their own kind to the point of... this.

I will use the totems that you brought me to perform a cleansing ritual.

I need someone to assist me in the ceremony. Let me know when you are ready.

At this date this quest is still bugged.
The Totem of Serenity can't be clicked.

But I found a work-around.

It's very simple, find a key on your keyboard that isn't beeing used.

- Press Esc
- Select Key Bindings
- Find the key binds group "Targeting Functions".
- In this group, find "Interact With Target"
- Click on the first "not bound" and press the unused key.
- Close the menu.

Now, type on your chat the following:
/tar totem of serenity

And press the key you just bounded to "Interact With Target".
You might get an error, asking you to approach your target, do so, and keep pressing the key.

You should now have started the event.
Kill the spawned NPC

Done!

I hope this helps someone. :)

You should be careful to either be very near to Yalia or very far away from her, i was like between near and far and one freekin totem spawn on me so i stucked inside it and i could not move, i was ready to use hearthstone but luckily i am a warlock so i used demonic gateway to teleport and unstuck.
