I am farming these characters for the rare Gravenscale Armband recipe drop. Just across the inlet from the Shackle's Den flight point are two skrogs guarding a small pass, and another is a few hundred yards farther in. The Cove Skrogs have over 10 million health, which is too much for my 833 iLvl hunter to handle even with his pets. All three skrogs can be kited back to the flight point where the friendly NPC's will assist in taking them down. About half the time his pets succumb, and he also must feign death often to survive, but the NPC's complete the battle and the hunter is able to loot. Alas, the recipe I am looking for has not dropped after about 4 hours of farming. I think it is taking about 4 minutes per kill, which includes a 2 minute battle and an average 2 minute respawn time. That suggests about 60 kills without an armband drop.

Added: I just noticed that the recipe I want is not included on the cave skrog's drop list. The cave skrog is listed, though, under the dropped by list for the recipe at 0.3%. I can't complain yet about not getting one in 60 attempts.
