The bracers were lost forever and never found,
Soloed with ease as a lvl 9 priest. I don't know why this has a Suggested 2 Players tag on it, but, as one pster said if you can kill a single owlbeast at a time you can do this quest NP. And, Magwin is actually not a completely stupid AI escort for once, she never aggros more then one mob and moves in a straight line.
Magwin's Lines:
Help me! (Only phrase she said while attacking the Owlbeasts)
My poor family. Everything has been destroyed. (Upon seeing the wrecked house)

Magwin hugs her father.

Sweet ending to a pretty sad quest cluster.

As of 4/1/09 a Draenei priest received all of the rep listed at the top (63s with the various factions etc)

Description
My family was attacked by the murlocs and owlkin of this island several weeks ago. I managed to escape but I think that both my mother and father have been slain. I don't know what I'm going to do now, but I must try and get back to my home - or what's left of it... Will you help me get through the forest?
