A Mysterious Warning

A Mysterious Warning is a quest for level 70-73 in Dalaran. It is step 7 of 16 in the Visions of Azeroth storyline. It rewards 1,200 experience and money.

Description

Well, that was quite the nap. I wasn't expecting Azeroth to be so... loud. To normal folk, she's gently calling out. But with our connection, it felt like she was screaming. Directly into my crystal noggin.

I saw it though. Khaz Algar, an island of earthen, bathed in fire and smoke. That's where Azeroth is trying to lead us.

That's what we need to protect.

You won't get this quest until the expansion goes live. The reason being is that Khaz Algar is a new zone in the upcoming expansion, and until it goes live, no one can get there, except in beta. Many people assumed that the last update would bring further quests in this intro chain quest to the new expansion, but it didn't, because it's been hard locked until the expansion goes live. This whole system seems utterly daft to me. They should have waited until the expansion went live and then open the entire chain quest. It wouldn't have taken much time coming up with a reason why you needed to defeat the 3 bosses.

If you've already completed this quest on your main you have the option to skip it on your alts. Doing so takes you right to Dornogal where you can choose the zone to start questing on the Scouting Map. If you choose Isle of Dorn you are given Isle of Dorn, skipping the entire Breaking Point Storyline. While it's nice to skip content we've already done, keep in mind, the new Campaign quest line alone will not get you to level 80. You will have to run Delves, side quests or grind through tons of mobs to accumulate enough XP. The one advantage leveling your second alt is an additional 5% XP through [spell=430191],
