A Mutual Exchange is a quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis. It is step 7 of 13 in the Into the Unknown storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zereth Mortis at 31.2, 51.3. It rewards 1,000 experience and money.

Description

It seems the other automa did not appreciate our appropriation of their colleague's hand. They have become hostile.

Unfortunate, but we cannot allow this to impede our progress.

The automa's hand should activate a console within the Genesis Repository. I believe it holds an object of great potential.

After you acquire it, I will guide you to a place that may provide a means to reach the allies you left behind.

Where’s the Automa Hand?

It’s not it the usual places (like inventory and it’s not an icon in the Objectives section of the screen).

It’s a special action button in the lower middle of the screen - a gray metal hand. To see it, you have to stand on the glowing hexagon in front of the door to the Genesis Repository. On mouseover it doesn’t say Automa Hand, it just says “Activate”. Click to open the door.
