TheWoWDBI took one of my alts to take the boat and start the normal quest chain after my main had completed the whole story and unlocked adventure mode. After the first few campaign quests starting from the dock, a normal quest (just the exclamation mark without the shield) becomes available from Sendrax called “Adventuring in the Dragon Isles”. This opens up the scouting map (76.5, 34.2 in The Waking Shores). After choosing a zone to quest in all of the world quests remain available and access to all of the dungeons also remain available. This can also be accomplished by just taking the portal to Valdrakken on the alt; you still have to fly to the landing dock, do the first few quests up to Sendrax and pick up “Adventuring in the Dragon Isles” to open up the scouting map. None of this is available until one character on your account had finished all of the leveling story quests. At the end of the chain you turn in a quest at the top of the tower that opens up a giant dialog window stating that you have unlocked "Adventure Mode", only when that is done can the scouting map and the portals be unlocked.

So I started questing on an alt BEFORE finishing the MSQ on my main. Finished it on my main and now I cant get to Sendrax because they are dead since I had already been working on questing on this alt. I can't get to the scouting map. Is there any way at all to fix this?
This confused me for a long while because the center of the marked quest objective spot on the minimap was a random forge, and I couldn't find any stupid mission map like the one from BFA.
There is a small-ish map lying flat on a pallet next to the forge that has a very subtle sparkle to it if you look carefully. /way 76.5, 34.2
