TheWoWDBIt says the pears are optional, but they arent, as you need them to heal the whelps. Would be nice if they actually were optional, as they are a pain to collect.

Totally agree. Also, sometimes the dragons you have to rescue are non-interactive. To "fix" it, you move on to the next one.
Jeez Blizz, please add some sort of QA to this game! And if you think you already have one, consider putting an intelligent person in there, not just the person you fired from the quest design department an hour ago. You could even put 2 people there.
I wish the creator(s) of this WQ a very pleasant stub their toe on their nightstand on a very cold morning.
